NOTICE

This privacy policy applies to Bioverse Inc.’s websites and other technology resources owned and or operated by Bioverse, Inc. or any of its subsidiaries (collectively, “Bioverse”, “we”, “us”, “our”) such as Bioverse online store, mobile applications, social platforms and the like (“tech resources”).

This digital privacy policy (“Policy”) applies to information collected during your interaction with Bioverse tech resources, unless a different online and/or mobile policy is posted at a particular site, or is made available to you and by its terms supplants this Policy.

Our Policy was developed as an extension of our commitment to combine the highest-quality products and services with the highest level of integrity in dealing with our customers and partners. The policy is designed to assist you in understanding how we collect and use the personal information you provide to us (and the information that we otherwise collect) and to assist you in making informed decisions when using our site, products and services.

This Policy also explains certain data use and data protection functionalities and practices of online ads, such as banner ads, that we may have on third party sites. Please note that where we have another type of presence on a site owned by a third party, such as a page or handle on a social media site, that third party’s privacy policy and terms of use, rather than this Policy, will govern, unless specifically stated otherwise.

CHOICE – CONSENT

By using Bioverse tech resources or interacting with a Bioverse advertisement or page or account on a third party site, you consent to this Policy, including your consent to our gathering, use, and disclosure of information about you in the manner described in this Policy. If you do not consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal information as described in this Online Privacy Statement, you should not use this site.

If you are visiting the Bioverse website from a location outside of the United States, your connection will be through and to servers located in the United States. Any information you provide during your visit will be processed and maintained on our Web server and/or other internal systems located within the United States.

We reserve the right to modify this Policy at any time, so please review it frequently. If we make updates to this Policy, we will update the Policy with the changes and revise the “date of most recent update” posted at the bottom of this Policy. Any updates to the Policy become effective when we post the updates on our website. Your use of our website following the update to the Policy means that you accept the updated Policy.

You may be able to set your browser to reject browser cookies. However, if you choose to reject cookies, you cannot access your accounts online with Bioverse. Therefore, if you set your browser options to disallow cookies, you will limit the functionality we can provide when you visit our Site. The latest versions of internet browsers provide cookie management tools, such as the ability to delete or reject cookies. We recommend that you refer to information supplied by browser providers for more specific information, including how to use these tools.

As you may be aware, there are on-going discussions regarding “Do Not Track” technology. “Do Not Track” technology allows a user to choose in each separate browser environment (i.e. Internet Explorer, Chrome, Firefox, etc.) whether he or she wants his or her browsing to be tracked across websites. However, industry efforts to standardize “Do Not Track” technology and policies are ongoing. Since “Do Not Track” technology has not been fully standardized, we currently do not honor “Do Not Track” requests at this time. We will continue to monitor “Do Not Track” developments so that we can work towards honoring the preferences of our customers as efficiently as possible.

If you do not want to receive email or postal mailings from us, please let us know by calling, sending an email, opting out by clicking on the unsubscribe link at the bottom of an email you receive from us or by writing to us at the below postal address and telling us that you do not want to receive email from our company. If you are a registered member at our website, you may be able to change your preferences in the My Account section.

When you download a mobile application from us, we have the ability to use a service provider to provide you with push notifications containing marketing messages to your mobile device. Your device may allow you to opt out of these push notifications by accessing your device’s application or notification settings for the Bioverse app. Bioverse has no control over the application permission notifications that may be provided to you on download from a third party app store or the ability of your device to opt-out of these push notifications.

You may opt-out of our use of Google Analytics by visiting the Google Analytics opt-out page and installing the Google Analytics browser add-on, currently made available by Google at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

You may opt out of Yahoo’s collection of analytics information outside of the Yahoo distribution network, by clicking on the following link: http://info.yahoo.com/privacy/us/yahoo/opt_out/targeting/details.html.

If you choose to opt-out of our use of your information for direct marketing purposes, this does not remove your information from our data database entirely. We will retain your information to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. In addition, if you include your email in an order, you will continue to receive transactional messaging about your order status.

CHILDRENS PRIVACY

Our website and other Tech Resources are not directed at children. In accordance with federal law, we do not solicit or knowingly collect information from children under age 13 without the verifiable permission of a parent or guardian. Children under the age of 13 should obtain their parent or guardian’s permission before providing any personal information through the use of Bioverse tech resources and should then do so only under supervision of their parents or guardians. GATHERING – WHAT WE GATHER

When you make use of Bioverse Tech Resources in a variety of ways online, including through a mobile device you may be asked to provide us with information in order for us to provide you with the products or services that you have requested. We may offer sites or applications that permit browsing and do not require registration. We may also offer the ability to enroll, register or access your accounts online. Information that we may collect about you through online interaction includes information that you input, such as your name, address, email address, other contact information; data resulting from your activity, such as transaction information; and location information. We may also gather additional information, such as the type of device and browser you are using, the IP address of your device, information about your device’s operating system, and additional information associated with your device. We may also gather information collected through cookies, web beacons, tags, log files, and other web technologies.

We use “cookies” and other web technologies to collect information and support certain features of this site. For example, we use these technologies to collect information about the ways visitors use our site – which pages they visit, which links they use, and how long they stay on each page. Cookies and other Web technologies are also used to support the features and functionality of our site — for example, to track the contents of your shopping cart as you move from page to page. These technologies also permit us to keep a record of your previous choices and preferences so that we can personalize your shopping experience and save you the trouble of reentering information already in our database. Generally, the information we collect using these Web technologies does not identify you personally, however, it may be linked to information that does identify you personally, such as the information you provide when you make a purchase or register to use a special feature of this site. If you do not wish to receive cookies, you may set your browser to reject cookies or to alert you when a cookie is placed on your computer. You may also delete our cookies as soon as you leave our site. Although you are not required to accept our cookies when you visit our site, if you set your browser to reject cookies, you will not be able to use all of the features and functionality of this site.

ABOUT “COOKIES” AND AD CHOICES ON THIRD PARTY SITES

Cookies are small text files that websites send to a visitor’s computer or other Internet-connected device to uniquely identify the visitor’s browser or to store information or settings in the browser. Both we and others (such as our service providers and advertising networks) may collect personal information about our visitors’ online activities over time and across third-party websites. Bioverse websites are not designed to respond to “do not track” signals received from browsers. We use cookies to offer you the convenience of not having to reenter information, and provide you with information targeted to your interests. A web beacon, also known as an Internet tag, pixel tag or clear GIF, links web pages to web servers and their cookies and may be used to transmit information collected through cookies back to a webserver. Through these automated collection methods, we obtain “clickstream data,” which is a log of content on which a visitor clicks while browsing a website or using an app. As the visitor clicks through the website or uses an app, a record of the action may be collected and stored. We may link certain data elements we have collected through automated means, such as your browser information, with other information we have obtained about you to let us know, for example, whether you have opened an email we sent to you. You may modify your browser settings through the “help” section of the toolbar to disable the use of cookies. Please note, by doing this certain features on our website may not function correctly and you may be required to reenter your information more frequently. We may use third-party web analytics services on the Bioverse websites, such as those of Google Analytics and Site Survey. These service providers help us analyze how users use the Bioverse website. The information collected for this purpose (including your IP address and other information collected by automated means) will be disclosed to or collected directly by these service providers. The providers of third-party apps, tools, plug-ins and widgets on theBioverse websites, such as Facebook “Like” buttons, also may use automated means to collect information regarding your use of the websites and apps and your interactions with these features. This information is subject to the privacy policies or notices of these providers.

On Bioverse website, we may collect information about your online activities for use in providing you with advertising about products and services tailored to your individual interests. This section of our Privacy Policy provides details and explains how to exercise your choices. You may see certain ads on other websites because we participate in advertising networks. Advertising networks allow us to target our messaging to users through demographic, interest-based and contextual means. These networks track your online activities over time by collecting information through automated means, including through the use of cookies, web server logs and web beacons. The networks use this information to show you advertisements that may be tailored to your individual interests. The information our ad networks may collect includes information about your visits to websites that participate in the relevant advertising networks, such as the pages or advertisements you view and the actions you take on the websites. This data collection takes place both on our websites and on third-party websites that participate in the ad networks. This process also helps us track the effectiveness of our marketing efforts. To learn how to opt out of this advertising networks interest-based advertising, please visit the consumer opt-out page at Digital Advertising Alliance.

We may supplement the information collected through this site with information we collect in other ways. For example, if you call our toll-free number, we may collect your telephone number and add it to our database. We may also supplement the information collected through this site with information from third parties, including data brokers. By supplementing your profile with information from other sources, we are better able to provide product recommendations and special offers that will be of genuine interest to you. We may also use this additional information to further personalize our site and improve your shopping experience.

USING – HOW WE USE THE INFORMATION

We use cookies and information gathered through their use to make your experience with Bioverse and certain other sites richer and more personalized based on the products, services, or other interaction you have with us and other sites. Information gathered through use of cookies may be used to make offers to you via online ads, email, U.S. mail, or telephone, subject to the privacy preferences you have on file with Bioverse. (Privacy preferences for employer-sponsor retirement accounts default to no marketing, solicitation or sharing for marketing purposes without specific consent.) We also use cookies, sometimes in conjunction with service providers, in online advertising either on our own Site or on third party sites to help determine which of our advertisements are most likely to appeal to you. We respect consumers’ ability to exercise choice in receiving these types of ads on third party sites. We honor your choice as follows: For this type of advertising placed on third party sites, we participate in the program utilizing the Advertising Options Icon. If you receive an ad delivered on a third party site in part based on information gathered through the use of cookies, you may opt out of receiving such ads by clicking the displayed icon and following the instructions or by visiting http://www.aboutads.info/choices/. This opt-out works via cookies, so if you delete cookies, use a different device, or change web browsers, you will need to opt out again. Please note that we respect your choice via participation in the Advertising Options Icon/aboutads.info program. Information that we collect about you from one particular browser or device may be used to provide advertising or collect information on another browser or device. It may also be transferred to a third party for advertising or information collection on behalf of Bioverse. Please note that your choice to opt out on a particular browser or device will apply only to the collection and use of information from that particular browser or device. Opting out on a particular device will not opt you out of information collection on other devices, nor will it limit cross device sharing on those other devices. Industry standards are currently evolving and we may not separately respond to or take any action with respect to a “do not track” configuration set in your internet browser.

Other parties that may collect information about your web browsing behavior when you use our Site are generally limited to service providers who may only use any information collected to provide services and marketing for us and not to provide services or advertising for any other party. Note, however, that we also provide certain widgets or tools on our sites, such as tools that allow web surfers to easily share information on another platform, such as a social media platform. These widgets, tools, and informational items often function through the use of third party cookies utilized by the third party site, such as the social media platform. As a result, these third parties may have access to information about your web browsing on the pages of our Site where these widgets, tools, or information are placed. You may wish to review information at third party sites, such as social media platforms where you have an account, to determine how these third parties treat data that they obtain through the use of cookies.

We also use cookies for purposes such as maintaining continuity during an online session; gathering data about the use of our site; monitoring online promotions; and anti-fraud and information security purposes.

Cookies is a term also used to describe other locally stored objects, such as cookies stored in an Adobe folder on your device. These cookies will not be deleted when you clear cookies from your browser. We may use this technology for purposes such as information security and fraud prevention.
